Journal Entry

An 18-year-old man, Aramis Diamante-Sanitino Gaither, shot his 45-year-old father, Anthony Tyrone Gaither. Aramis's parents were arguing and Aramis claims he was protecting his mother. Aramis shot his father six times outside of their home in St. Paul, Minn. Aramis is currently awaiting trial on intentional second-degree murder.

  2. I read this article in the paper; very interesting. I can't be critical of him stepping in for his mother; I would do the same. But shooting your father, that is over the top.

  3. I can understand that if the son and mother's lives were in danger that shooting might be necessary. But not shooting to kill. You really need background information to judge this situation. Thanks for posting.
